Plaza de San Francisco is an emblematic place that comes to life during Christmas season thanks to its lighting by Ximenez. Located in the city center, this square becomes a meeting point for locals and visitors that looking to immerse themselves in the Christmas spirit.
The sevillian Plaza San Francisco becomes the central point every Christmas
In 2021, Sevilla showcased the largest Christmas tree in Europe, standing at nearly 40 meters tall. This impressive structure installed by Ximenez provided some of the best images of the city’s Christmas. In addition, its various lightshows attracted thousand of tourists and sevillians every day to enjoy the Christmas essence.
Another major Christmas lighting project of Ximenez Iluminación that debuted in Plaza San Francisco in Seville was its Angels of Light.
Twelve angels, each 12 meters tall, formed a celestial choir, and their interplay of light and sound manage to gather thousand of people around them.
One of the most memorable Christmas illuminations for everyone, which was first unveiled in this famous sevillian square, were the three large crowns of the Three Wise Men. Three walkable crowns that earned the admiration of children and adults alike with their lights, colors and shows.
