Granada Fair illumination
Hundreds of lanterns
for the Corpus Christi Fair
The Granada Fair is closely linked to the religious celebration of Corpus Christi, and it is better known as the Corpus Christi Fair of Granada. This is the city’s main festival, which is adorned and illuminated each year with hundreds of lanterns and a colorful and traditional lighting.
With more than 15,000 lights, the entrance arch of the Granada Fair is a grand structure standing at 21.5 meters in height, replicating the famous Puerta de las Granadas of the city. This structure has been manufactured and installed by Ximenez Iluminación, which, each year, with its lighting ceremony and that of the frairground in Almanjayar, marks the beginning of a new festive week.
